Soap & Glory, confessions of an addict! Part 1

Hands up I am a self-confessed S&G addict, I started using their products about 3 years ago but really got into them the past year or so on recommendation from a friend. Since then it’s been a downward spiral mainly downward on my bank balance, thanks to Boots and their 3 for 2 offers. I got that bumper Christmas set off a friend for Christmas so I’ve been trying out lots of stuff I haven’t before. Here are my favourites at the moment.

First up is For Daily Youth 6-in-1 Moisture Lotion. This has been my moisturiser since the New Year. I absolutely love it, it’s almost gone because I use far more than I need to. I find if I put this on straight after a shower it keeps my skin super soft and youthful as soon as it dries in and keeps going even when I’ve had makeup on all day and after I’ve taken said makeup off. It’s a bit on the pricier side at €16 for what seems like a small enough tube it but goes a long way.

Next up is the almighty Righteous Butter, I’ve seen a few reviews of this but have to hate the haters on this one. I used to just use this for my elbows, knees, heels but now it’s a go to when I get out of the shower.
It can feel a bit greasy especially on your hands after applying but other than that once you give it the time to dry it’s great.
The only thing I don’t really like about this, because it’s quite oily you can’t use it before tanning which means you need an oil free moisturiser just for tanning.
It’s not a huge issue for me because I don’t do tan that much but when I do it’s a bit of a pain.

Lastly, Heel Genius I was a bit skeptical about because it asks to put it on at night and put socks on once applied. I don’t do this.
Again after showering I do this and put socks on til bedtime (or for the day, perks of working from home). I also use this on my hands/elbows if they’re particularly dry because I love the smell of it and you can nearly watch it working on you.
I never had particularly dry heels but got it in the set so decided to try it out. I now have it beside my bed alongside a smaller travel tub of righteous butter and lip balm.

So that’s my confessions of an addict, I’m addicted to quite a few things so I may make these into a series!
What are your beauty addictions? What drains your bank balance?
Any recommendations of have-to-haves or avoid-like-the-plague products?
